EC America Awarded New California Multiple Award Schedule

EC America (ECA) is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a new continuing California Multiple Award Schedule (CMAS) contract. The CMAS is a contract for Information Technology (IT) products and services, administered by the State of California. The contract (CMAS Contract 3-08-70-1448B) is effective through 9-30-2012.

Overview

The ECA CMAS contract vehicle allows ECA and its Authorized Resellers to offer IT solutions to any department, agency, or district within the State of California.

Local government agencies may also purchase from CMAS contracts. A local government agency is any city, county, district, or other local governmental body, including the California State University (CSU) and University of California (UC) systems, K-12 public schools and community colleges empowered to expend public funds.

Doing Business Utilizing the ECA California Multiple Award Schedule

All ECA Authorized Resellers wishing to do business in the State of California must be registered with the California Secretary of State (http://www.sos.ca.gov/business/). ECA will require a copy of the certification.

ECA Authorized Resellers will also have to complete the Payee Data Record if they will be receiving payment directly from the State (http://www.csum.edu...VENDORDATAFORM-STD204.xls).

After signing an ECA Authorized State Reseller Agreement and submitting required documents to ECA, ECA will submit a modification to the Department of General Services adding the reseller as an Authorize State Reseller for CMAS Contract 3-08-70-1448B. The ECA CMAS Authorized Reseller will be allowed to send quotes, receive orders, and accept payment from state and local agencies.
